Life Staff Void Gauntlet (AOE Healer)

Life Staff Void Gauntlet is a area of effect (AOE) style healer build that focuses on doing as much healing as humanly possible. This weapon combination excels in all forms of content and is particularly strong but is squishy and can be killed quickly if you are out of position. You are entirely reliant on stoneform in this build to stay alive if you take agro and your own heals!

Attributes

With your attribute split you want to be focusing going 250 constitution and put the rest into focus. Better healers sometimes go for lower constitution if they are not being punished, but will swap to higher constitution if they are being focused.

Consumes

We run fire absorption potions with lasting consumption bags to buff the duration to 45 seconds. With a 90 second cd, this gave us 15% fire resistance with 50% uptime! We also use health, mana, and regeneration potions. Regeneration potions also give us mana and this build needs all the mana it can get.

Armor

This build focuses on maximizing our refreshing while still having decent defensive perk options. Without defensive perks, this build can have A LOT of deaths.

We the savior helm to maximize healing output as well as featherweight to increase our overall armor. This also allows us to run Sandlion Tarsus while still being in light equip load. These raid items are almost required for this build and make it significantly more powerful. An alternative more budget-friendly build would use nimble coat.

We opt for lots of enchanted ward and conditioning to survive dives and endless thirst to increase the impact of our health potions. Healing breeze or purifying heart is a preference choice on the gorgon’s ring.

Weapons

Our lifestaff and void gauntlet can be obtained from the Cultlass Keys (CK) PVP zone. Blessed will increase our healing output will other perks will allow us to have more cooldown reduction. It’s important to wait to detonate the healing orb until the very end to maximize healing output. Runeglass gems still provide a 15% healing boost while full hp and the tooltip is still bugged.

Heartgems

You must run stoneform with this build due to us not having another way to live effectively. Since we have 350 focus when we use our ult we’ll gain a lot of cooldowns. Some AOE healers opt to spam their ult for this benefit!

Skill Tree

We take clap as our primary group heal, divine embrace as our single target, and sacred. The main goal is to put sacred in a spot where it can both mitigate damage and boost our healing mid fight. Clap is used both defensively and to heal multiple allies at the same time, while divine’s embrace basically can go infinite on its own.

On the vg side, we take scream as a defensive, tether for a slow, and orb for a strip/heal.
