Rapier Tank

The Rapier tank build excels due to its incredible ability to balance offense and defense through Evade, Flurry, and Riposte, which provide multiple windows of invulnerability. Evade allows for quick dodges, while Flurry, especially with Leeching Flurry, not only deals rapid damage but also heals you, keeping you in the fight longer. Riposte serves as both a taunt and a crowd control ability, stunning enemies while allowing you to reset your positioning. This combination of agility, self-healing, and control makes the Rapier tank highly effective at mitigating damage while maintaining constant pressure on enemies.

Attributes

For your Rapier tank build, the ideal attribute allocation focuses on maximizing critical chance and survivability. Aim for 350 Dexterity to boost your crit rate, as Dexterity is key for both damage output and ensuring you land those all-important critical hits. From there, adjust Constitution based on your skill level and the content you're facing—anywhere between 100 and 300 Constitution will provide the tankiness needed to absorb damage. Finally, funnel any remaining points into Intelligence to slightly increase your overall damage and ability scaling, especially if you're using a magical offhand like the Void Gauntlet or Firestaff. This balanced distribution will keep you lethal while maintaining enough defense to hold the front line.

Armor

As always with armor you are looking at as much enchanted ward as possible while having your refreshing stacks , slash conditioning is very strong on tanks as most trash mobs wlll do slash damage, giving you essentially 5 moonstones worth of protection. Ensure you have leeching flurry on one piece of armor, all 725 gear can be replaced with any gearscore just keep the same perks.

Weapons

If you have another rapier on the team using tondo you can take keen tondo on the armor allowing you to drop keen on the weapon and ring so you can take keenly empowered and thrust damage.
